First thing, make sure your PS4 is in a well-ventilated area, not crammed into a tight space. Dust build-up can seriously mess with airflow—grab a can of compressed air and give those vents a good blast!

I've been there! Keep the PS4 horizontal and avoid stacking stuff on top of it. Also, consider an external fan or cooling stand if it’s still running hot.

Honestly, don't put it in an enclosed space like a cabinet. That’s just asking for trouble!

To stop your PS4 from overheating, give it a break every few hours and make sure it's updated with the latest software. Also, clean it regularly!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
