Actually, I love that you can't just hoard everything. Makes you more selective and adds to the challenge. Who needs a dozen robes anyway?
Unfortunately, Hogwarts Legacy doesn't have a traditional storage system for gear like you might find in other RPGs. What you have is what you carry. To manage your inventory, you'll want to sell or dismantle items you no longer need. Dismantling can give you materials for crafting, which is super helpful. If you're holding onto something because it looks cool but don't want to wear it right now, well, you're gonna have to carry it with you. The game's focus is more on the adventure and less on inventory management.
