Easy peasy! Use your ship's cargo hold. Just open your inventory, select the items you want to store, and transfer them to the ship's cargo. Remember to keep an eye on the weight limit, or you might end up flying like a space turtle!
You can always use your ship as a mobile storage unit. Just don't forget where you parked it!
