Go to the Course Maker menu, tap the M icon, and then you can choose from Mario, Luigi, Toad, or Toadette. Easy peasy!
Just hit the 'M' button on the design screen and select your character. I usually go with Toadette because she’s awesome.
Honestly, just stick with Mario. He's the OG for a reason!
