Hot take: Switching characters is cool and all, but it's all about finding the right moment. Mid-heist? Not the best time. When you're just roaming? Perfect for a switch-up!

From personal experience, remember that not all characters are available to switch to at all times. Sometimes missions or certain game events lock a character. So, if you can't switch, just wait a bit or complete any pending missions!

Switching between characters in GTA 5 on the PS4 is super easy! Just press and hold down the down arrow on the D-pad. This brings up the character wheel, then you use the right stick to choose the character you wanna jump to. Once you've got your mark, just let go, and voila, you're now in control of your new character. Easy peasy!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
