Honestly? Just use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment over the vents. No need to go all tech surgeon unless it's really dusty inside.

Unplug your Xbox Series S, then use a T8 and T10 screwdriver to remove screws and detach the panels. Clean with a soft brush or compressed air. Easy peasy!

As someone who鈥檚 done it, you鈥檒l need Torx screwdrivers (T8 and T10). Remove the back screws, carefully detach the panels, and clean inside. Just be gentle to avoid damaging anything!

First, make sure the console is unplugged. Then, use a T8 and T10 Torx screwdriver to remove the screws on the back panel. Carefully detach the panels, starting with the top, to access the internals for cleaning. It's a bit tricky but doable if you鈥檙e careful!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
