To take clothes off in Brookhaven, open the avatar editor, find the item you want to remove, and click on it. It should come right off鈥攏o magic required.
You can't completely strip your avatar in Brookhaven. Leave some clothing on, or the game won't let you remove more items.
From personal experience, I've found the simplest way is heading to the avatar editor and deselecting the clothes you no longer want to wear. Works every time!
