Unfortunately, you can't manually recall a Pokémon from a Gym in Pokémon GO. You’ll have to wait until it loses and returns on its own.

No way to pull them out! Trust me, I’ve tried everything. Your Pokémon will come back to you when it’s defeated in a Gym battle, no sooner.

To take your Pokémon out of a Gym in Pokémon GO, just let it hang out there until it gets defeated! Once it’s knocked out, it'll come back to you automatically.

Leave them there to enjoy their Gym time! After they're defeated, they'll return with some coins for you. No manual option to remove them, though.

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
