Learn the animations of King’s grabs and practice the timing in training mode. It’s all about recognizing the grab and pressing the escape button in time.

To tech (escape) King’s grabs, you need to press the appropriate button right when he grabs you. For standard throws, tap 1 (left punch) or 2 (right punch) based on the arm he uses. Against his multi-throws, you'll need to recognize the animation and escape by inputting the correct sequence quickly.

Best way to avoid King's throws? Don't get grabbed in the first place. Just kidding, but seriously, spacing is key.

I main King, and I can tell you: his grabs are scary, but practice breakin' them. Familiarize yourself with his multi-throw chains and be quick with your escapes. It’s tricky, but it pays off!
