To tech a throw in Tekken 8, hit the left punch (1 on your controller) or right punch (2) just as your opponent grabs you. Timing is everything!
To tech throws in Tekken 8, you need to press the correct punch button (1 or 2) depending on the throw type, right when the throw animation starts.
Honestly, just spam 1 or 2 when they go for a grab. Works for me!
