How to tell if a Pokemon card is real
AttendingStoke·7 months agoChecking if a Pokemon card is real is kinda like being a detective. First off, real cards have a distinct texture and quality, especially the holo ones – they're shiny and have a smooth feel. Then, peep the edges; real cards have clean, crisp edges. The color should be vibrant, not dull. And don't forget the most important part: the back of the card. It should have the same blue background and Pokeball design, no weird shading or off-center. Lastly, the real deal has a clear, readable font. If the text looks funky or the alignment's all over the place, you might be holding a dud.

Got duped once, never again. Real cards feel a specific way, kinda sturdy and have a slight gloss. Fakes? They're flimsy and the print looks like it was done on a home printer. Plus, the holo effect on a real card is legit, not just some glitter thrown on it. And always check for typos; legit cards don't have 'em.
just weigh em. heavier cards = real, light ones = fakes. works every time
