How to Determine the Value of Your Pokemon Card
SnorkellingClock·7 months agoJust look up the card on eBay and filter the results by 'sold listings'. It gives you a real-world idea of what people are actually paying for it, not just what sellers are asking for.

Honestly, unless it's a super rare card or a first edition, it's probably not worth much. Everyone thinks they've struck gold with their old Pokemon cards, but the market is more about the really rare stuff.
First off, check the bottom of your card for the little symbol that indicates its rarity – common, uncommon, rare, etc. The rarer, the more valuable it generally is. Next, hop onto sites like TCGplayer or eBay to compare your card's condition and edition with those listed for sale. Mint condition cards fetch the highest prices. Also, keep an eye out for special editions or error cards, they can be worth a pretty penny!
