How to Tell If a Pokemon Card Is in Cycle
MuggingCreek路7 months agoTo find out if your Pokemon card is in cycle, the quickest way is to check out the official Pokemon website or use their card database. They keep an updated list of what's currently playable in Standard and Expanded formats. Another pro tip is to look at the bottom corner of your card for the set symbol and compare it to the symbols of sets listed in the current Standard format.

Rule of thumb: If your card's from the last two years, there's a good chance it's still in cycle. But always double-check to be sure.
Honestly, unless you're playing in tournaments, don't sweat it too much. Most casual games won鈥檛 require your cards to be in cycle. But yeah, official Pokemon TCG website is your best bet for the serious stuff.
Just look at the card's expansion symbol and compare it to the list of legal sets for the current season's format. If it matches, you're good to go. Simple as that.
