Telling if a Hot Wheel is rare can sort of feel like treasure hunting! Look out for limited edition models, any numbering on the packaging like '1 of 5000', and unique features or color variations not common in regular lines. Also, older models from the '60s and '70s, especially with redline tires, tend to be rarer. The more unique it is, the higher chance it's a rare find!

Check the production code. Rare Hot Wheels often have short production runs. If you got something that's hard to find on the shelves, chances are it's got some rarity to it.

Honestly, just enjoy the hunt. Don't get too caught up in what's rare or not. The most valuable Hot Wheels are the ones that bring you joy, not necessarily the ones worth the most money.

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
