Honestly, just buy from reputable dealers or directly from the Funko store. Not worth the headache to save a few bucks just to end up with a fake.
Check the box first! Real Funko Pops have clear fonts, no typos, and the colors should be vibrant. The bottom should have legal info and a unique identifier. Also, the figure itself should have smooth paint, accurate details to the character, and it usually feels solid. If it feels super light or the paint job's sloppy, you're probably looking at a fake.
