How to Tell if Pokemon Card Packs Are Fake
CatalogingDisk·7 months agoFirst off, check the packaging! Real Pokemon card packs have a consistent color and high-quality print. Fakes often look faded or the colors are just off. The seal should be tight and uniform, nothing sketchy like excessive glue or uneven wrapping. Text quality matters too; official packs have sharp and clear text, while fakes might have typos or blurry letters. And don't forget the feel of the pack—real ones have a certain heft to them, thanks to the quality cardstock inside.

Weight check! Seriously, some folks use scales because counterfeit packs can weigh differently than the genuine ones. A bit out there, but if you're into it, it's a thing.
Barcode scan it with your phone. Most legit packs have barcodes that you can scan to verify its authenticity. If your phone's scanner app doesn't recognize it, red flag big time.
