How to Tell If Pokemon Cards Have Been Resealed

First off, check the packaging carefully. If it's a resealed pack, the wrapper might not be as tight as factory-sealed packs - it could look puffy or have more air inside. Also, the seams of the pack might look tampered with, like they've been heated and resealed. Another giveaway is if the cards inside are in impeccable condition yet the pack itself looks worn or old.

Honestly, just buy from reputable sellers or the official site. Resealed packs are too hard to spot for the average Joe. Not worth the hassle or potential heartbreak if you're really after the genuine article.

Look for any inconsistencies in the wrapping material. Original Pokemon card packs have a certain shine and texture, so if yours looks dull or feels different, it might be a clue. Also, resealed packs often miss that crisp 'pop' when you open them; it's more of a whimper than a bang.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
