Here's the trick: Search their username in the Instagram search bar. If you find them but can’t see their story highlight circle, it's a pretty good clue.
Hot take: Just ask them if they blocked you. It might be awkward, but it’s the fastest way to know.
If you can't see their story but know they’ve been posting, and they suddenly vanish from your feed, you’re probably blocked.
From my experience, if your messages go unanswered and their stories are MIA, it's a classic combo for getting blocked.
