How to Tell If You Have Valuable Pokemon Cards

First off, check the rarity symbol! Common cards have a circle, uncommon ones a diamond, and rare cards rock a star. If you're holding onto a card with a holographic art, congrats, you've probably got something a bit more special. Don't forget to look out for first editions and misprints; these are often more valuable. Lastly, the condition of your card is super important - a mint condition card is going to be worth way more than one that's seen better days.

Honestly, just Google the card name and see what pops up. If there鈥檚 a bunch selling on eBay for more cash than you'd spend on lunch, you might have hit the jackpot.

Rarity signs and shiny stuff aside, most cards are just cool to have but won't pay your bills. It's the super rare ones, like first editions and those holographic beauties, that could be worth a small fortune.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
