How to Tell Pokemon Card Edition

Easy peasy! Just look at the bottom of the card. You'll usually see a small symbol that tells you the expansion set it belongs to. Also, the card's edition (like 1st Edition or Unlimited) can sometimes be found in the lower left corner of the artwork. The absence of the 'Edition 1' symbol means it's an unlimited edition. Don't forget to check for a little silver star for rare cards, a diamond for uncommon ones, and a circle for the common troops!

Honestly, just google the set symbol plus the number on the card. There's tons of sites that'll tell you exactly what edition your card is from. Plus, they can give you an idea of its value!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
