Look for a date stamp on the bottom of the car. This tiny detail tells you the production year. But remember, this year might not always match the year it hit the stores, since some models are released a bit later. So, if the bottom says 2018, it might've zoomed onto shelves in 2019.

Don't forget about the packaging! If you're lucky enough to have your Hot Wheels in their original packages, they often include the year of release. It's a collector's dream, keeping those beauties mint in box and knowing exactly when they came out.

Flip that speedy car over and check out the bottom! Hot Wheels often have the year they were made stamped right there. It's like a secret code, but not so secret once you know where to look. Just grab your favorite car, flip it, and BAM! Time travel to the year it was made.

Year on the bottom? Not always accurate. Don't trust it too much, sometimes it's more about the model's design year than the actual release date.
