From experience, using the meter is key. Hold the button, aim at the meter’s sweet spot, release. Practice makes perfect!

Hold R1 and you'll open your quick throw menu. Pick a direction and button for an easy throw to any base!

Make sure you set your throws to 'button accuracy' in the settings for more control. Then, tap the base button and aim!

Easy peasy! Just press the corresponding button on your controller for the base you want to throw to. For example, X for first base on PlayStation.

Dude, just press the button that matches the base you want to throw to. Simple as that!

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
