Forget the shot meter! Turn it off and focus on the player's shooting animation instead. Once you get the hang of their form, you'll start hitting more shots.

I always hold the shot stick down until the player starts to flick their wrist. Works for me every time!

It's all about muscle memory. Keep practicing and you'll start to feel when to release. Also, don't forget to use players with higher shooting ratings at first to make things easier!

Pro tip: Jump shot animations vary! So, learn your favorite players' timings, and remember, online lag can mess with your perfect release. Adjust accordingly.

Hey there! Practice makes perfect. Spend some time in the practice mode to get used to each player's shot release. Pay close attention to the shot meter - release your shot when the meter is full or in the green zone for the best results. Good luck splashing those threes!

If you're a NBA 2K player looking for extra VCs or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in  NBA 2K essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
