Honestly, just make sure you've got the Island Transfer Tool downloaded on both Switches. The rest is just following prompts. Easy peasy!

Tried transferring my island once, and the best advice I can give is to double-check your target Switch has enough free space. The transfer tool will tell you it's all clear, but I had to delete a couple of games before it actually worked. Also, patience is key!

Transferring your Animal Crossing island is simpler than it sounds! First, both the source and the target Switch must have the Island Transfer Tool app installed from the eShop - it's free! Then, on the source Switch, open the tool and select 'Transfer Island Data.' On the target Switch, open the tool and choose 'Receive Island Data.' Follow the on-screen instructions, and voila! Your island will start transferring. Remember, both Switch consoles need to be connected to the internet during this process.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
