You can also transfer games by connecting an external hard drive to your PS4, copying your games onto it, and then plugging it into your PS5. Simple and effective!

Easiest way? Use the Data Transfer feature during the initial setup of your PS5. Just connect both consoles to the same Wi-Fi network, follow the on-screen instructions, and let the magic happen!

For me, I used the Data Transfer via wired LAN and it was amazingly fast. Both consoles connected via an Ethernet cable鈥攖ransferred everything in a flash!

Just download the games again from your library on the PS5. Slow, but it works.

I don't even bother with transfers, just redownload directly from the PS Store. Fresh and clean.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
