To transfer Xbox 360 games to Xbox One, just sign into your Xbox One with the same account you used on Xbox 360. Your digital games will be available in the 'Ready to Install' section.

I've done this before! Just head to 'My games & apps' on Xbox One and look for your Xbox 360 games under 'Ready to Install'. Easy peasy!

Insert the Xbox 360 disc into the Xbox One console. If the game is backward compatible, it'll download a digital version to play.

Hot take: It's easier to just re-download the games on Xbox One rather than mess around with transfers. Time saved!

For any save files, upload them to the cloud on your Xbox 360. Then, download them from the cloud on your Xbox One.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
