You can also use an external hard drive—copy all your games and settings to it from the Xbox One S, then plug it into the Series X. Easy peasy!

Don't forget to backup your saved data to the cloud via Xbox Live. That way, you can just sign in to your new Series X and everything will be there waiting for you!

Pro tip from personal experience: Just sign into your Xbox account on the Series X. Most of your settings and games will sync automatically via the cloud.

Super simple! Use the 'Network transfer' option on your Xbox One S to move your games and settings to the Xbox Series X. Just make sure both consoles are on the same network.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
