How to Turn Ads Off on Facebook
Unfortunately, you can't completely turn off ads on Facebook, but you can adjust your ad preferences to make them less annoying. Go to Settings > Ads > Ad Preferences and tweak away!

You can't turn off Facebook ads entirely, but you can hide the ones you don't like. Click on the three dots on the ad and select 'Hide ad' or 'Why am I seeing this?' to personalize your ad experience.
I tried reducing my interest categories in the Ad Preferences, and it made a huge difference. FB ads are way more relevant to me now!
Just use an ad blocker. Problem solved.
