I mute notifications all the time鈥攔ight-click the server icon, select 'Notification Settings,' and choose 'Nothing' under 'Server Notification Settings.' Works every time!

You can easily turn off Discord notifications by going to User Settings > Notifications and toggling off the ones you don't need. Simple as that!
