From my experience, just head over to 'Settings', find your 'Circle', tap 'Location Sharing', and flip the switch to 'Off'.

Turn off the app and forget it exists. Problem solved.
Easy peasy! Just go to the settings in the Life360 app, and toggle the location sharing option off. Simple as that!
Open Life360, tap on 'Settings', select 'Location Sharing', and switch it off. Works every time for me.
