I've found that adjusting the 'Gamma' setting under the Graphics tab can help. Lowering it a bit softens the sun glare while keeping the rest of the game looking good. Give it a shot!

If the sun glare is affecting your gameplay, consider using the 'decal' trick. Place a decal on your windshield, and sometimes that can block out the sun without changing your graphics settings!
