If you want to stop the shuffle chaos on Spotify, just tap the 'shuffle' icon in the Now Playing view until it turns gray. Easy peasy!
Just turn off the shuffle by clicking its icon on the Now Playing screen鈥攕ame thing, both free and premium.
A premium subscription makes life simpler, but you can still turn off shuffle for free! Just use the icon in Now Playing.
