Just upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate and it’ll convert your Gold into Ultimate automatically. Worked like a charm for me last Tuesday!

Honestly, just switch to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It's the best bang for your buck and the conversion is automatic.
