To unequip an item, just press the 'G' key on your keyboard or the 'Down' button on the D-pad if you're using a controller. Easy peasy!

I usually just switch to another item to unequip what I'm currently holding. Works like a charm!

You can unequip items by using your backpack menu too. It's handy when you need to switch things up quickly!
