Uninstalling Steam on a Mac? Easy peasy. Just open your Applications folder, find Steam, drag it to the Trash, and then empty the Trash. If you wanna get rid of all your game data and settings too, you gotta dive into your Library folder (in Finder, click 'Go' while holding the Option key, then click 'Library'), and delete everything Steam-related in 'Application Support', 'Caches', and 'Preferences'.

Honestly, just dragging Steam to the Trash does the job. No need to delete all the extra files unless you're never coming back.

I tried just dragging it to the Trash, but my Mac acted weird afterwards. Had to remove everything from the Library folder to really clean it up. So, might as well do a thorough job from the get-go!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
