Honestly, why would you even want to uninstall Steam? It's like throwing away a treasure chest.

Uninstalling Steam is pretty straightforward, but remember this will remove all your games too. Just head into the Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program. Find Steam in the list, click it, and then hit the Uninstall button. Don't forget to back up your games if you plan on reinstalling Steam later!

For a quick clean, just hit up your computer's uninstall function. But if you鈥檙e feeling like a tech wizard, dive into that file system and manually delete leftover files in your Steam directory after uninstallation. Just for those who like their system squeaky clean.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
