How to Unlock Akuma in Street Fighter 2
To unlock Akuma in Street Fighter 2 Turbo, head to the character selection screen and hover over Ryu for a few seconds. Then, quickly move to T. Hawk, Guile, and back to Ryu. Hold L and R, and press Start + A.

Just don't. Getting Akuma is a pain and not worth the trouble.
In Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, you can fight Akuma by reaching M. Bison without losing a round and scoring at least three perfect rounds. He鈥檒l appear as a secret boss!
I tried it myself: beat the game without losing, get some perfect rounds, and voila, Akuma appears to wreck your day. Totally worth it!
