To unlock the cartography table in Valheim, you need to first defeat the Elder boss, find Swamp biomes, and collect materials like Bone Fragments and Ancient Bark. Once you’ve gotten those, the recipe for the cartography table will pop up, and you can build it from there!

Just beat Elder, get to the Swamp, gather bone fragments and ancient bark, then you can craft the cartography table. Simple as that!

Honestly, just explore the Swamp after defeating the Elder—grab some bone fragments and ancient bark, and you're good to go.

Beat the Elder, raid the Swamp for bone fragments and ancient bark, and then you can build the cartography table. Viking style!
