You can't unlock characters offline in Street Fighter V, as it requires an internet connection. Gotta get online, buddy!

Take it from someone who tried: offline unlocking isn't possible in SFV. You need that sweet internet connection for character purchases.

While SFV offers Fight Money for characters, you do need to hop online to spend it, unfortunately. Offline unlocking isn't a thing here.
