You need to complete the Blue Sphere special stages. That's the key to unlocking Sonic's hidden powers.
To unlock Sonic's abilities in Sonic Mania, you gotta collect all the Chaos Emeralds by beating the special stages. Get those emeralds and you'll have the super transformation powers. Gotta go fast!
Once you collect all 7 Chaos Emeralds in the game, Sonic's true abilities will be yours. It's an epic journey but totally worth it!
