Actually, it might depend on where you're hosting your Palworld server. Some hosts auto-update servers for you. Double-check with them if you're unsure. I had to manually trigger mine, but a mate's server updates on its own.
Don't bother updating manually; get a host that does it for you. It's 2024; we shouldn't have to update anything manually anymore.
Just hit up the control panel and look for 'Update Server' button. Click and boom, you're set. Easy!
