Short answer: Splat stuff to get ability chunks, then give those chunks to Murch.
You can't upgrade amiibo gear directly, but you can level it up like any other gear by playing with it in battles. As you level it up, you'll unlock ability slots that you can customize with ability chunks!
In Splatoon 3, upgrading your amiibo gear is all about splatting and earning ability chunks! Use these chunks to upgrade specific abilities on your gear in the Murch's shop. Make sure to equip your amiibo gear when you dive into Turf Wars and Ranked Battles to level up and earn more chunks. Happy splatting!
