Upgrading your PS4 HDD is easier than beating the first level of Crash Bandicoot. Just back up your data, unscrew the old drive, swap in the new one, and install the system software from a USB drive. Done!

Been there, done that. Just make sure you get a 2.5-inch SATA drive, follow a good online tutorial (Sony's official site has one), and you'll be all set in no time.

Upgrade your PS4 HDD? Honestly, just buy an external USB drive. Easier and you don't have to open anything up.

Upgrading the HDD on my PS4 was simple. Backup your data with a USB drive, then swap the old HDD with the new 2.5-inch SATA drive. After that, you'll need to download the system software from Sony's website onto a USB flash drive and reinstall it. Everything was working perfectly!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
