Sorry, you can't upload your own songs to Spotify to share publicly. You can only add local files for personal use.
Personal experience: I use the desktop app to manage my local files. Add the music folder through Settings, and make sure to create a playlist for easy access!
You鈥檒l need the desktop app. Go to Settings -> Local Files -> Add a Source, and select the folder with your music.
