Just got it working with my buddies! First, plug in both controllers. Then, open SNES9x, head to Input > Input Configuration, and assign each controller to Player 1 and Player 2. Done and done.
Easy peasy! Go to Input > Input Configuration, and set your first controller for Player 1. Then, select Input > Input Configuration again and set up the second controller for Player 2. Happy fighting!
Make sure both controllers are recognized by your PC. Then, in SNES9x, navigate to Input > Input Configuration and assign each to the respective player.
