First, press the PS button in the middle of the remote to turn it on. Next, go to the PS3's Settings menu, select Accessory Settings, and then select Register BD Remote control. Follow the on-screen instructions, and you're good to go!

From personal experience, it’s super straightforward — just press the PS button, register in accessory settings, and you’re all set! Trust me, I did it on my PS3 in minutes.

Make sure the remote has batteries, hit the PS button to sync up with the console, and then navigate to the accessory settings to register it. Easy peasy!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
