How to Use a Controller on Geometry Dash
AttallingHalt路7 months agoActually, using a controller for Geometry Dash is pretty simple! First, make sure your controller is properly connected to your device. If you're on PC, most controllers should work once plugged in or connected via Bluetooth. Then, just launch Geometry Dash, and it should automatically detect your controller. From there, the default action (jumping) is usually mapped to one of the face buttons like 'A' on Xbox controllers or 'X' on PlayStation controllers. If it doesn't feel right, you can always remap the controls in the settings menu of your operating system or use third-party software like JoyToKey for more customization.

Just plug it in and go. Geometry Dash ain't picky.
I've been playing Geometry Dash with a controller for years, and it's a game-changer. The precision you get from button presses over touchscreen taps is unbeatable. Makes those insane levels a tiny bit less rage-inducing. Remember though, not all controllers are created equal. I swear by my Xbox controller for the smoothest experience.
