I use an Xbox controller for SAO on Steam and it works like a charm. Just connect it via USB or Bluetooth, then go into the Steam Big Picture mode to configure it for the game.

Honestly, you don't even need to mess with in-game settings most of the time. Just plug in your controller before launching the game and you should be good to go!

Hot take: Keyboard and mouse is actually better for SAO on PC. More precise movements and faster reactions. Controllers are overrated for this one.

Yo, just plug in your controller and the game should automatically detect it! If not, try going to the in-game settings and configuring it manually.

If you're a Sword Art Online fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
