Why bother with bait? Just enjoy the zen of fishing as is. The simplicity is the real charm of Stardew Valley.

Attaching bait is simple! Right after getting your hands on a Fiberglass Rod or an Iridium Rod from Willy's shop, simply drag the bait onto the rod in your inventory. This little action makes fishes bite faster, so happy fishing!

First up, ya gotta have a fishing rod that can actually use bait, which means either the Fiberglass Rod or the Iridium Rod. Once you've got that, just open your inventory, right-click on the bait (or tap and hold if on mobile), and then right-click on the rod, or tap it again for mobile folks. Boom! Bait attached, and you're all set to catch some fishy friends!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
