Equip HVARs in the secondary armament section, get close to your target, usually tanks or buildings, and let them fly!
HVAR rockets are great for ground targets! Just make sure to adjust your aim for the drop and speed of the rockets.
To use HVAR rockets in War Thunder, load them onto your aircraft, aim at your target, and fire away! Boom!
Honestly, I just point my plane at the target and fire. Sometimes you hit, sometimes you miss. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
